A2 CofC Drone Pilot Course - NOW VALID UNTIL 2026
This is your A2 CofC Certification Examination. This will allow you to operate Drones up to 2KGs in the A2 Category.
We are more than happy to talk you through the flights you plan to make to ensure that this training package is correct for you.
**** EU Transition period has now been extended by the CAA. This means the A2 CofC is valid for Legacy Aircraft until 01/01/2026.
The Course Structure
1. Read all the training materials that you have downloaded, just after purchase.
2. Register for the E Learning
3. Complete the E Learning as many times as you like.
4. Read the written materials as many times as you like.
5. Inform us you are ready to take the Theoretical Exam via email, along with your availability.
6. Take the test at the agreed time.
7. Get your certificate as soon as you pass the exam!
All of this can be completed at your own pace, in your own time around work and family commitments. You could for example, revise the Syllabus over a week and take the exam in the comfort of your own home! You will need either -
A stand alone Computer or laptop with a webcam in order to take the test.
Talblet with webcam and the ability to download the Mettl app for the test.
Lastly you are also required to conduct and record risk assessment, make records of all flight records and always have Insurance for commercial insurance in place. Although we recommend that you always have Liability insurance whenever you fly.
We have also provided blank forms that you can use before and after each flight.
